    Burn Dragon Burn.

Okay, there is, I admit, a certain song going through my head :)

And, wow, I can’t believe all these titles. I’m dying to know which one it will be.

  2. Olivia Lorenz December 29, 2006 at 6:17 pm #

Hic Sunt Draconis. Just to get all those Latin and medievalist geeks excited.

    Or maybe not.

Good luck with choosing the title!

Sorry Angie, I just saw the 25 limit when I had already submitted my last posting. Just delay my last posting

  7. Ember December 29, 2006 at 8:31 pm #

Wow, lots of good titles here already.

    K, how about:

    Fiery Seduction
Flames Keep (sorry Keep may be spelled wrong here. I’m not much into castles)
    Keeper of the Flame

    Ember

  8. April December 29, 2006 at 9:15 pm #

My first thought was Heart of the Dragon, but I see that people have already come up with that. So my sole suggestion is this:

    Dragon Heart

    or the alternative:

    Dragonheart

The number of syllables and meter reminds me of the title Ladyhawke, an old Michelle Pfeiffer movie that I like a lot (romantic fantasy, no less).

Plus, I think single word titles for multiple-author anthologies are some of the best (Secrets, Bite, Howl, etc.)

  9. Stacia Wolf December 29, 2006 at 10:04 pm #

Okay, Angie, I have difficulty passing up a challenge, and I thought about this while waiting at the ridiculously long line at the post office, at the ridiculously long line at the pharmacy, and at the very short line at Safeway. Here goes:

Flights of Fantasy: On a Dragon’s Wing

    Or you could pluralize it.

    There’s a 25 suggestion limit?

    Uh, oh.

I apologize. I didn’t see that until someone else posted it. Man, I wish I’d noticed that. But now I can’t stop thinking about this anthology.

    Again – my apologies.

  25. Angie December 30, 2006 at 9:01 pm #

Well, the 25 limit is mostly so I don’t get 25 seperate comments from one person, or a bunch of lame titles just in an attempt to win the contest. It was my protection against the people who don’t seem to have self-limits when it comes to contests, lolol. I don’t mind more than 25 titles from those who are making an honest attempt at it (which all of you have done so far!)

Some of these titles have made me laugh so far. And yes, I’m making a list to narrow it down. But keep them coming.I won’t choose until the contest closes!

About Me

Angela James

There is nothing worse than writing a bio. And writing one for your blog sidebar? Blech. Maybe you landed here via Google, followed me from Twitter (does that make you a stalker?) or maybe we met at a conference or you clicked a link from a comment I made at a blog you visited. Hopefully whatever I said didn't make you so mad you came looking for a picture to throw darts at (yep, that's me up above, in my favorite cowboy hat) but instead drove you to find out more about the amazingly witty and intelligent person behind the amazingly witty and intelligent comment.

However you found me, who you found is Angela James, executive editor of Carina Press, Harlequin's new digital-first press. I'm passionate about digital publishing, my mission is to drag people to the digital dark side, one reader (and author) at a time. I'm also Brianna's mommy. At my blog you'll get an odd mix of personal and professional posts about parenting, publishing, books, cooking, sewing and life in general. Come back often, comment frequently and go green—buy ebooks!

Please note that this is my personal blog and my opinions are neither that of Harlequin, nor representative of their opinions.

Find Me Here

First, I blog once or twice a week at theCarina Press blog, talking about the job, the authors, the books and other things Carina Press. And, of course, you can always find me on Twitter. Or Facebook, if you prefer (mostly the same content, one feeds the other). I also run the Carina Press Twitter and Facebook accounts. Social media, it's where it's at (well, it's where I'm at, anyway).
