Georgia -huh? Heading into my stomping grounds. Where ya gonna be here in the deep South, Angie? If you hit Augusta let me know and i’ll get you free passes for one of the attractions.

I used to obsessed about my fishtank too. I had goldfish, which lasted 9 years.

YAY for the new blackberry! And sorry to hear your trip is causing anxiety…I’m sure it’ll be just fine!!

Battlestar Galactica is ridiculously addictive, so I’d vote for that. I’m having a hard time the looooong hiatus until Fall. Grrr.

And Torchwood – I haven’t finished watching the episodes I have, but I’m enjoying it so far.

Have a great trip (if you’re near Savannah and have time, have a look around- it’s a cool city with great restaurants- especially lunch).

Hope you have an amazing trip to Georgia! And I totally forgot the Dover race was coming up. Suppose town will be crowded here that weekend!

Happy TT and have a great Mother’s Day!

Have fun-I understand about the hypnotic power of fish tanks 🙂
    Have a Happy Mommy Day

Your tank sounds wonderful, if tons of work. That Man and I haven’t done anything alone in years. Actually, I think the last time we spent the night together alone it was in the hospital while I was having the littlest monster, who will be four in June. Now *that’s* sad.

Rhian–Macon, Georgia actually. I have no idea where that is in relation to anything but Atlanta, lol.

Tempest–I actually have two small tanks (3 gallons each) that never caused the level of obsession this saltwater tank has. There’s something about how gorgeous it is!

Rhonda–I am not usually such a worrier! And the blackberry is here. Thankfully it needs to be charged so I’m forced to keep working 😉

Caryle–where are you in the Torchwood series? And I do want to watch BG but I think my husband does too, so I might have to choose something else!

    Thanks, Ann!

Annie–OC will be crazy regardless 😉

RG–seriously, I could stare at this thing all day!

Joely–we’re lucky that we have my MIL who can and will watch her so we can do things like this.

Lol… 🙂 I liked reading your list. I’ve never understood why people are so into Nascar… I know shoot the flaming arrows at me now.

I totally think you should go with heroes. It’s an awesome show, but you will be addicted.

So many good shows to watch. I love BSG and Heroes, but Buffy and Angel are highly addictive as well.

Enjoy the BlackBerry Pearl. I work for the manufacturer and love them. 🙂 (and the company is good too)

  16. Erin the Innocent May 10, 2007 at 11:22 PM #

Wow. I wonder what’s going to happen to the fish when you’re gone?

    I’m sure you’ll have a great time 🙂

Totally go for Heroes. Seriously. 🙂

About Me

Angela James

There is nothing worse than writing a bio. And writing one for your blog sidebar? Blech. Maybe you landed here via Google, followed me from Twitter (does that make you a stalker?) or maybe we met at a conference or you clicked a link from a comment I made at a blog you visited. Hopefully whatever I said didn't make you so mad you came looking for a picture to throw darts at (yep, that's me up above, in my favorite cowboy hat) but instead drove you to find out more about the amazingly witty and intelligent person behind the amazingly witty and intelligent comment.

However you found me, who you found is Angela James, executive editor of Carina Press, Harlequin's new digital-first press. I'm passionate about digital publishing, my mission is to drag people to the digital dark side, one reader (and author) at a time. I'm also Brianna's mommy. At my blog you'll get an odd mix of personal and professional posts about parenting, publishing, books, cooking, sewing and life in general. Come back often, comment frequently and go green—buy ebooks!

Please note that this is my personal blog and my opinions are neither that of Harlequin, nor representative of their opinions.

Find Me Here

First, I blog once or twice a week at theCarina Press blog, talking about the job, the authors, the books and other things Carina Press. And, of course, you can always find me on Twitter. Or Facebook, if you prefer (mostly the same content, one feeds the other). I also run the Carina Press Twitter and Facebook accounts. Social media, it's where it's at (well, it's where I'm at, anyway).
