If you look to the left sidebar, you might notice a new flash ad. It’s not there permanently, I just wanted to show it off (it’s a new Samhain ad I helped brainstorm the copy for and I kinda like it!) so I stuck it in a widget for a bit. I’ll remove it in a few days. For whatever reason, I don’t see it in Firefox but I do see it in Internet Explorer. I’m not too concerned since it’s not permanent, but if you don’t see anything, I guess it’s because you’re blocking shockwave somehow. And if you click it, it takes you to the Samhain site, which everyone should be visiting anyway, of course
About Me

There is nothing worse than writing a bio. And writing one for your blog sidebar? Blech. Maybe you landed here via Google, followed me from Twitter (does that make you a stalker?) or maybe we met at a conference or you clicked a link from a comment I made at a blog you visited. Hopefully whatever I said didn't make you so mad you came looking for a picture to throw darts at (yep, that's me up above, in my favorite cowboy hat) but instead drove you to find out more about the amazingly witty and intelligent person behind the amazingly witty and intelligent comment.
However you found me, who you found is Angela James, executive editor of Carina Press, Harlequin's new digital-first press. I'm passionate about digital publishing, my mission is to drag people to the digital dark side, one reader (and author) at a time. I'm also Brianna's mommy. At my blog you'll get an odd mix of personal and professional posts about parenting, publishing, books, cooking, sewing and life in general. Come back often, comment frequently and go green—buy ebooks!
Please note that this is my personal blog and my opinions are neither that of Harlequin, nor representative of their opinions.

The ad is good but the graphics leave me wondering. “Won’t Talk Back” is going to turn some people off. It indicates that the man is a wimp and is afraid to speak his mind. Now some women I know would like that but I sure wouldn’t. I want a man who isn’t afraid to argue but can compromise when necessary.
It’s not appearing in Safari. (Yes, I’m sad and use Safari. :pengydie: )
It might be your embed code. I found a great one that works cross platform that was recently created and a lot less gunk to work with. Lemme know if you want it.

Sure, Dee, I’ll try the new code if you want to send it to me!
Looks good. I’ll take a man who doesn’t talk back. I like ‘em w/ less talk and more action anyway
you are the FLASH AD demon! :jump:  :muahaha:
and it looks gorgeous on my horrible old computer that hates the interwebs.
I think it is gorgeous.
Very classy…I like the fade.
:cheer: Very nice!
It looks great on my computer, too. I’m fine with a man who doesn’t talk back! Lead me to him. :neenerghost:
Love that ad! I think it looks great.
