I installed a new plugin today (on my blog and Jaci Burton’s blog), that I think is kind of cool. I saw it on some random blogs I was reading, so I went searching for it.
It’s called CommentLuv and when you fill in your info and post a comment, it tries to pull the title of the last post you made on your own blog, and it will add it to the bottom of your comments. Just make sure you keep the box checked (it’s automatically checked). I think it’s a nice way to let your blog commenters draw new readers to their blog. I like it!

You can download the plugin here.
Now if only I can figure out why my smilies aren’t clickable when I did the exact same installation on Jaci’s blog and it worked fine. Hmph.

Wow. How cool.

Very cool – too bad about the smilies though. I’m sure you’ll figure it out.
I see you’re re-reading Shadow Music (which I haven’t read). Have you read Shadow Dance yet? I read it over Christmas and enjoyed it alot. I’m assuming Shadow Music is quite good or you wouldn’t be re-reading it.

Huh. I haven’t actually read Shadow Music once yet, lol. I must have coded it wrong when I put it in the sidebar!
This will require me to come up with much better blog titles now. And I’m having a hard enough time with the content. :sinking:

lol Shan.
I’m glad you commented because you used a smilie. It looks like the smilies work in IE but not in Firefox. Dammit. They work in Firefox on Jaci’s blog. Waaaah.
I love this plugin. And of course since I don’t know jack about wordpress I can’t help with your dilemma.
But thank you for installing it on my blog. I  you Angie.

I love to see things in action!

This sounds cool. I’ve just switched to WordPress but I’m afraid to do plugins. I don’t want to break anything. LOL!
OK! Got this one and it is fun.
For more comment goodness try these I have them all working together…

What a cool plug-in! I haven’t switched from blogger to WordPress yet, but I’ve been thinking of doing so quite a bit lately. When I get a chunk of time to figure it all out, I will give it a try!

Hmm, I tend to stay away from the plugins because there are so damn many of them, it’s hard to determine which is the best of what and half of them don’t work with my messed up stylesheet, but I kind of like this one.
Ditto about the better titles, though. I’m terrible with them, and lately I’ve gotten lazy.
:gah: It doesn’t work for me anyway. Probably have to have pingbacks enabled on my end or something, and deleting the links to porn addict blogs became too tedious for that.
But on the bright side, I can continue with my lousy titles! :arsed:
That is so funny. CommentLuv did it to me on another blog – maybe hers, and I was confused! I thought, are people going to think I’m a boastful person? But now that I see what it is, maybe I’ll get me some Commentluv.

Mine didn’t work. Hmm.
