You have a nice sign in the bathroom that talks about the millions of gallons of water used every day to wash towels used only once. The instructions say a towel hanging on the rack mean that I will use it again.
Of course, being a (mostly) good person, doing my part for the environment, I hang my towels on the rack to be used the next day. But when I come back to the room, not only do I have two new towels to replace the ones on the rack I used, I also have two additional towels. I guess hanging your towels on the rack results in the mating and reproduction of towels? So now I have FOUR clean towels. So much for doing my part for the environment.
I don’t understand.
