  4. Tinab December 23, 2008 at 10:54 AM #

hummmmmmm since you have kids this one is hard! EvilEditor comes to mind or just Samhain like someone suggested. I would go with something that expresses how you feel when you drive like Freedom. Or myroad…hheehe wanted that one this week when I was cut off a few times.. SexyMommy…..

  5. Ayla F December 23, 2008 at 11:10 AM #

Goddess? Evil One? Good mum? oh oh oh i know! phwoor! (the sound guys make when you drive past them in your car 😆 )

  6. Anne December 23, 2008 at 11:12 AM #

Ah Ah, that is a good story ! And your hubby is soooo very good ! Mine would never go with a car like that. Get that : he wants a Camry…. A Camry. Hello !
For your vanity plate, what about :
catchme or get out (this one looks great in caps : GET OUT or, foolyou 🙂

  7. Shannon Stacey December 23, 2008 at 11:37 AM #

    Ummm…dumb question, but isn’t that a 2-seater?

    Plate: KDNTRNK

  8. Angie December 23, 2008 at 11:40 AM #

lolol, that’s funny. Yes, it is a two-seater. We can’t all three fit in it together. Thus the statement: not a good family car. That’s okay, the Mustang didn’t have a backseat for years because it got taken out for racing, so we’re used to this issue.

  9. Jana J. Hanson December 23, 2008 at 12:45 PM #

EVL EDTR was my first thought.

MIA TIA (From Cars — Lightning McQueen’s fangirls are Miatas: “I’m Mia, I’m Tia, and we’re, like, your biggest fans.” Clearly, I’ve watched this movie several hundred times.)

My m-i-l had a Miata for several years and loved it…until a dooley Dodge truck ran her off the interstate. Her’s was a convertible as well.

    Have fun!!

  10. Shannon Stacey December 23, 2008 at 12:46 PM #

It would by a funny plate, though.

  11. rebyj December 23, 2008 at 12:47 PM #

  12. Bobbi Kilbarger December 23, 2008 at 12:48 PM #

Samhain or EVLEDTR sound pretty cool.

Maybe since you’re so good at blogging, BLOG GRL

idk, it’s a thought… sweet looking car though, enjoy driving that thing around!

  15. Karen December 23, 2008 at 2:10 PM #

After all, in your car, you are in your OTHER persona more.

  16. Michelle (MG) December 23, 2008 at 2:55 PM #

I was thinking NICEMOM too. Or EVIL ED or EDTRMOM

  17. Deidre December 23, 2008 at 3:48 PM #

I was thinking something to do with your cowboy hat, maybe

  18. Angie December 23, 2008 at 3:59 PM #

Oh dear God. My husband is going to be all over MOUNTUP.

He told me earlier he’s been wanting to get me EVLEDTR on the Explorer, so that might be what we go with for the Miata but I’m loving these suggestions!

  19. ErinW December 23, 2008 at 4:48 PM #

EVLEDTR was the first thing I thought of, too… clearly I’m not very creative. lol

How about MSJAMES (if you’re nasty! bwahahahahaha)

  20. Nicole December 23, 2008 at 5:56 PM #

Cute car! you can always combine and go with EVILMOM. I do like the EVLEDTR. Or EDTRMOM. Hmmm…..

  22. Debby December 23, 2008 at 6:46 PM #

    I M HOT

  23. Karin December 23, 2008 at 7:26 PM #

The first thing that popped into my mind, like quite a few others, was EVLEDTR. Shannon’s suggestion had me laughing, though. But to come up with a new suggestion, how about EATDUST?

By the way, congratulations on getting a good deal on the car.

  24. Livvy December 23, 2008 at 8:09 PM #

I’m not sure why but Stellar popped in my head.

  25. Ember December 23, 2008 at 8:17 PM #

Now you need a racecar emoticon :neener:

  26. Patricia Barraclough December 23, 2008 at 11:47 PM #

  27. Eugenia December 24, 2008 at 1:20 AM #

  33. Dina December 25, 2008 at 4:51 PM #

    (hot fun for me) 🙂

  34. Dena December 25, 2008 at 5:53 PM #

My first thought was EVLEDTR too. So another one is YOUWISH

  35. Michelle December 26, 2008 at 7:29 PM #

How about MAMA MIA – a play on your “nice mommy” and Miata. On the other hand, if you hate that movie, the musical, or ABBA in general, it might not be such a winning suggestion for a vanity plate!

    Happy 2009!

  36. Devair Pruitt December 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM #

Without the seat covers for Christmas you coud go for 2cool4u or 2hot4u.

  37. Donna Holmberg December 29, 2008 at 1:15 PM #

You should go with 6yMommy or 6yMom if they can’t do 7 digits.

About Me

Angela James

There is nothing worse than writing a bio. And writing one for your blog sidebar? Blech. Maybe you landed here via Google, followed me from Twitter (does that make you a stalker?) or maybe we met at a conference or you clicked a link from a comment I made at a blog you visited. Hopefully whatever I said didn't make you so mad you came looking for a picture to throw darts at (yep, that's me up above, in my favorite cowboy hat) but instead drove you to find out more about the amazingly witty and intelligent person behind the amazingly witty and intelligent comment.

However you found me, who you found is Angela James, executive editor of Carina Press, Harlequin's new digital-first press. I'm passionate about digital publishing, my mission is to drag people to the digital dark side, one reader (and author) at a time. I'm also Brianna's mommy. At my blog you'll get an odd mix of personal and professional posts about parenting, publishing, books, cooking, sewing and life in general. Come back often, comment frequently and go green—buy ebooks!

Please note that this is my personal blog and my opinions are neither that of Harlequin, nor representative of their opinions.

Find Me Here

First, I blog once or twice a week at theCarina Press blog, talking about the job, the authors, the books and other things Carina Press. And, of course, you can always find me on Twitter. Or Facebook, if you prefer (mostly the same content, one feeds the other). I also run the Carina Press Twitter and Facebook accounts. Social media, it's where it's at (well, it's where I'm at, anyway).
