It’s all about the party! Samhain Publishing is thrilled to announce our plans to host an informal meet & greet at the RWA National Conference in Washington D.C. Attendees from all walks of the industry are invited to join us to mingle with favorite Samhain authors, chat with our editors, learn more about digital publishing and opportunities at Samhain, or just to drink really great wine. The event will be held Friday, July 17 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the conference hotel in Angela James’ suite. To receive the suite location, please enter your info into the widget below and it will be sent to you via text message Wednesday July 15th. Man, wish I was going to Nationals this year. Sounds like a great time!!
So classy. Wish I could be there! I hope you’ve got a super-sized suite
wine. drool. will be there. i think.
When Angie throws a party, who wouldn’t Want to be there! Count me in, provided I don’t get busted elsewhere. *grin*
Hi Angie,
I’m not sure if it takes Canadian numbers. So far I haven’t received a PIN #. Is there another way I can get a notice? Email? Because I’d need it for the Rogue conference as well.
Thanks, Michelle
Can I get an email instead of text? Am very interested in meeting everyone. Thank you so much for the opportunity.
Awesome. that you’re hosting a wine and wine, but also – this is such an awesome and techy way to do the rsvps. now i want to have a party so i can do this text message thingy too!
Thanks and looking forward to meeting everyone soon in DC.

Send an email to imogen@samhainpublishing.com and she’ll send you an email with the information that week.
The text message thingy doesn’t seem to be working on my phone…I didn’t get a PIN. I tried it for the Rogue seminar as well–no dice! Is it because I have a non-US number? How else can I find out where to be?
…okay, I took too long to post that and now I see Immi’s address! Will try her, thanks.
I will be there! Wine hmm…
Quick question, how many texts will be sent? Just don’t want to go over my monthly texts.
Katie, only one text. We have a limited # of texts we can send, so it will be just one text with the room details.
I look forward to meeting my new fellow Samhain authors!
Thanks,
Jenna
Thanks
Thanks – I’ve emailed Immi.
Do I have to register for RWA to attend? I just found out about RWA and I live in the metro area. Sounds like fun!
Not at all, Thien-Kim, come say hello on Friday! And you’ll want to consider the literacy signing on Wednedsay evening, and the Bosoms and Beer signing (Smart Bitches signing their book) on Thursday evening!
Thanks for the quick reply! It sounds like it’ll be a blast! I wish I could attend the conference, but can’t swing registration. Wonder if I have to be a member to be a volunteer helper? (So I can get a sneak peek at the conference)
I’ll definitely be checking it out!
This sounds like such a fun event! I’ll definitely try to attend!
Awesome idea! Count me in! Woot!
hi,
i didn’t receive the pin either. I hope I can receive the info by email. thanks
Mary Jo
If you email the address I posted earlier in the comments, my assistant will send it to you when the time comes!
You have the most wonderful widgets!
See you at RWA, Angie.

Looking forward to meeting you!
Looking forward to it!
Count me in, although my wine will have to be in the form of grape juice or water. I’ll be the pregnant one.
This sounds like such fun! Thanks so much for being the hostess with the mostest, Angie. Looking forward to meeting you.
I plan to be there, too. I’m looking forward to meeting other Samhellions.
