I like the idea of having many books available on a ereader without the weight of lugging around paper books. I like to have selection to take with me and if one book isn’t working for me at that particular time I can easily have a few to choose from.

I love the fact that the stories authors and their publishing houses put so much time into are so readily available. It saves me a trip out to town, etc. and sometimes it’s just so nice to sit at my computer and say ‘you know what, i want to read a good book while my kid’s at school and i have a free day’.

I love reading erotic romance, and with digital publishing I get instant access to so many great stories and new authors. I buy new ebooks weekly and load them on my Ebookwise Reader. The Reader is with me whenever I leave the house, and I totally love the convenience of bringing 100 books with me, and picking whichever story suits my mood. My hubby loves digital publishing too, since we have long since run out of room in my office for anymore bookshelves, lol.

I love digital publishing because it gives a voice to stories that otherwise would never get told. Not just individual books that push the envelope, but entire genres that have no place at any other table. Genres that find doors slammed in their faces in the mainstream world, epublishing instead opens its doors wide and lets them flourish.

Without digital publishing I wouldn’t have a career because mine is one of those genres. So yeah, I love digital publishing because without it my dream would still be just that – a dream.

I’m still fairly new to digital publishing, but I can’t believe it took me so long to find it. I love all the options I have with it – any kind of book I want to read? Somebody somewhere is writing it, and digital publishing has a level of access to it that allows it to be published.

I also love the fact that my books are all in one place (although I will admit that it hasn’t really prevented any “accidents” with the credit card at BN…) I love the level of affordability too! I definitely buy more since they’re cheaper!

I first became interested in digital publishing when I realized how many awesome books were in the public domain (and therefore available for download–Jane Austen, anyone?). Then I realized there were a lot of talented authors pushing the envelope, like rogue writers and publishers. I love the idea of readers taking back control of what they choose to read and, so, what will be published.

It’s hard to find something that someone else hasn’t already said. So I think I’ll just repeat a few things.

What do I like about digital publishing?

1. The new to me authors I find
2. The fact that I”m saving a tree or three
3. No more waiting for the darn mail to get here with the print copy, and it being at least a wweek or so past the release date even though I pre-ordered MONTHS ago!
4. Being able to read at night without turning the lights on and everyone wondering what’s wrong.

That’s just a few things about what I love about digital publishing.

I love being able to download new books at 1AM and loading my reader. I am never without something to read and I can always find something for every mood.
