Expandable post summary now works!!
Thanks to Taoski at the Blogger help Google group and the code from Amir at the blog of Anything Else, I now have expandable post summaries. If you are interested in doing this on your blog, I recommend visiting Amir’s blog and using his code because it allows you to only show the “Read More” bit when there’s actually more to read. Otherwise, just delete the “span class” bit from your post when you’re blogging, and it won’t show up! Very cool.
He is also currently working on some code that will allow Blogger users to put their posts into categories (like users on WordPress can do) and he also has some other neat tips and tricks for different things (like extensions he can’t live without on Firefox). Just go to his sidebar and choose category Tips and Tricks to browse his suggestions. I’m looking forward to the time when he’s done with the category code and I can add that to my blog, as well! I’m always in awe of people who create these codes.
Anyhow, thanks to Amir for sharing the code on his blog and Taoski for taking the time to look at my blog and give me a suggestion for fixing it! Without people like them, my blog would be so boring!
