I’m up early because we want to get on the road so we can stop at my in-laws and say hi to Brianna 🙂 Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by and commented on my birthday post yesterday. I appreciate all the well wishes.
After my early melancholy yesterday morning, I had a great birthday. Josh came home a couple hours early and brought me 31 roses. They’re gorgeous and mmm…they smell yummy.
Then it was off to the mall for a quick shopping trip and visit with our friend Shawn (he’s the mall leasing manager so we visit him when we’re there during work hours). Then off to dinner at Texas Roadhouse for an incredible steak. And NO singing (Josh wanted to have them sing…ohh did he want to…but he thought better of it). We came home, got things together for today’s trip and then went out for karaoke and drinks. And then when we came home…well, you fill in the blanks 🙂
I got up to check email and noticed the cat haunting the fireplace. I thought he was still high from the catnip we bought them yesterday, but when the fireplace moaned, I knew there was actually something in there. So, I got my husband out of bed (duh!).
And here’s our intruder. He was really cute.
This picture of the Explorer is because I tried to snap one of him running away but he was just that damn fast, lolol.
And because no post is complete without a picture of Brianna, here are two from last Friday, Josh’s birthday, and her eating birthday cake! Have a fabulous day and stay tuned tomorrow for pictures from my Samhain lunch and the soccer game.
