In honor of this month’s category romance TBR challenge, the question for the week is: do you read category romances? For those who’ve asked what it is, category romances can be found at Harlequin (to the best of my knowledge, Harlequin—Mills and Boon for those overseas–is the only publisher of category romance). Series lines include (but aren’t limited to) Harlequin Presents, Silhouette Intimate Moments, Harlequin Blaze, Harlequin Historical, Steeple Hill Inspired, Kimani Romance, Harlequin Ginger Blossoms (past Harlequins now released as manga), soon to be defunct Silhouette Bombshell and just debuted Silhouette Nocturne (I say just debuted, though their shelf date isn’t until October, you can order the first two from Harlequin online now for buy one, get one half price).
So, are you a fan of category romance? If so, what do you enjoy about them?
If you’re not a fan of category romance, why not? Why don’t you read them?
And for everyone: will you be trying Harlequin’s new Nocturne line?
