I was a big fan of the first two books in this trilogy. I don’t think these books got enough buzz, actually, but I thought Tempting Danger and Mortal Danger had interesting worldbuilding and I liked the protanganists–remember, I am very much a character reader so this is important to me in a book and I very much liked them. I liked Tempting Danger more than I liked Mortal Danger, but Mortal Danger has a unique…happening…that makes it an unusual read. I recommend both and I’ll be buying the third since I don’t know anyone I can bribe for an ARC (I think I’ve done used up my bribes, lolol, see below).

I’m now the proud owner of an ARC of this book 🙂 I called Lara out on my blog last week and she ponied up with an ARC. To steal a line from Sybil…squeeeeee. Of course, if it worked that easily, I’d just have to start calling out names (like Morgan HawkeI’m jealous of Sybil) and ARCs would magically appear in front of me. Alas, it doesn’t work like that. This time, someone ARC pimped for me 😛

Other books I have my eye one: Hell’s Belle’s by Jackie Kessler. Keishon appears to have an ARC of this one.

Lover Revealed by J.R. Ward. Duh.

Blood Bound by Patricia Briggs

And I’m also looking forward to reading Racy Li’s book, Ninja, coming from Loose Id in 2007. Just based on her website and character descriptions. Though I do have her free read downloaded to my computer, I haven’t had a chance to read it yet. When’s your release date, Racy?

And one I’ll be getting used or in paperback: For a Few Demon’s More by Kim Harrison. I find her books interesting but nowhere near enough to buy in hardcover. I pretty much only buy JD Robb in hardcover at this point though I am planning on buying Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning, just to show my support 🙂

What books are you looking forward to?
