Versus the ones I’ve given up on, which is a different Thursday Thirteen! Some of these series are “finished” or no longer being written, but I still enjoy re-reading them.
(BTW, are you crazy jealous of the cool TT graphic my friend Melissa made for me or what? I have another one that I’ll use next week, but this one is my favorite, I think)
1. In Death (J.D. Robb)
2. Belgariad/Mallorean (David Eddings)
3. Dante Valentine (Lilith Saintcrow)
4. Riley Jenson Guardian (Keri Arthur)
5. Stardoc (S.L. Viehl)
6. The Adept (Katherine Kurtz and Deborah Turner Harris)
7. Deadly (Brenda Joyce)
8. Daytime Mysteries (Linda Palmer)
9. Stephanie Plum (Janet Evanovich)
10. Black Dagger Brotherhood (JR Ward)
11. Sookie Stackhouse (Charlaine Harris)
12. Symphony of Ages (Elizabeth Haydon)
And bonus thirteen and fourteen: two series I love that I was just working on this week.
13. Chase Brothers (Lauren Dane)
14. Realm Immortal (Michelle M. Pillow)
I’ve loving three and five myself.
I read #3,& #10 religiously. I’ve recently discovered Stardoc, but have yet to read it.
I’m a huge Stephanie Plum addict, although I have to admit I need to catch up in the series. I came in late to the game and read them all up to ten and kinda got burnt out.
One of these days, I am going to buy some JR Ward’s. I’m almost embarrassed to admit, never heard of the author or series until you started mentioning it on your blog.
Great, kickass banner, Angie!
OMG, today’s Thursday?
:hide:
I just bought the latest StarDoc book. I must admit to skipping a few in between, though, when I won Rebel Ice from PBW when it came out last year. Happy TT!
Oh, I have Angie glow *preens*
The In Death books are the only ones I buy in hardback religiously because I can’t wait for paper. I keep thinking she’s going to write a bad one but each one has a unique take and I’ve loved every single one.
I still love Sookie and Stephanie too (although hello, can we get some actual Ranger action? That would be great, just sayin)
My TT is up
I’m on an anti series book kick.
It’s really hard to find a book that isn’t somehow connected to another one these days!
The only one that I read and/or enjoyed enough to want to read more is #10.
I’ve got the “In Death” series on my wish list. I am a series slut. I love series. Anyway I’m trying to come up with a way to justify buying a whole lot of these books but I can’t since I’m surrounded by books TBR. Sigh. Wonder if I can convince dh it’s research? :giggle:
lots of great series in there. many of my faves.
i’m up too, angie!
I think I just got a lot of new books suggesitons with that! I only knew Stephanie Plum, the BDB and Sookie (which I have yet to read). Thanks for the list!
