I’m starting to think about what books I want to take on vacation. Ideally, I’ll take only my Ebookwise and one paperback book, which leaves out most of the ARCs I have left to read. Except Lady of Light and Shadows because the fabulous Erin at Dorchester sent me a pdf copy this week. Yay!

But this means I have to choose between taking The Down Home Zombie Blues by Linnea Sinclair or The Road to Hell by Jackie Kessler, since I have paper copies of both of those. Oh the agony of decisions.

So far I’ve put on my Ebookwise, Lady of Light and Shadows and High Noon by Nora Roberts (because no way am I schlepping my hardcover copy in my luggage, especially when I’m taking the big-ass Disney book with). I looked to see if any of the Shomi books were available in ebook format, especially Driven, which I’ve heard great things about, but they don’t seem to be. I’ve just started reading a science fiction/futuristic series by Kristine Smith, but that doesn’t seem to be available in ebook format, either. And I would consider taking SL Viehl’s Stardoc series since I’ve read the first two and would love to continue, but I haven’t been able to find most of those in ebook format. See my issues here? I’d buy a lot more books if I could get my hands on electronic copies. And if I have them in ebook, I’m much more likely to read them thanks to sheer convenience.

But I’ll take recommendations if anyone has any, of books I should take on vacation. They don’t have to be in ebook format, but I probably won’t consider them if they aren’t (though that doesn’t mean I won’t consider them to buy for future reading pleasure). Anyone?
