If you’re my husband, you should not read this.
Today, I set up a few people with admin access to my blog for two reasons: 1) so they can take it over while I’m gone and maybe blog once or twice to fill the dead space just in case I can’t. And 2) in case I die in all these travels.
See, morbid? But then we got to chatting about emergency contacts and letting people know. I have a lot of friends and acquaintances and if something were to happen to me, my husband at least knows to let a few of them know, and they could spread the word (isn’t this conversation icky?) but what if something happened to both Josh and I? How would my family know who to contact? Go through my phone’s contacts? There are something like 500 contacts in there, with every Samhain author and business contact listed. And since many of us use pseudonyms, it’s not as if we would read about it in the obituaries (if we even lived remotely in the same area!)
I know, it’s a weird thing to think about but sometimes these things cross your mind and you wonder. So, if something happened to you, are there people who know about the different aspects of your life and who to contact?
