• September Before You Hit Send
    September 11, 2017 - October 6, 2017

Join Angela James, a twelve-year veteran of the editing profession, former copy editor, developmental editor of New York Times Bestselling authors such as Shannon Stacey, Alexa Riley, Lauren Dane and Jaci Burton, and current editorial director of Harlequin’s Carina Press for a four-week self-editing workshop. She shares some of the common pitfalls she’s seen during her decade of experience working as an editor with hundreds of authors and sorting through thousands of submissions, contest entries and manuscripts.

This is a work-at-your-own-pace workshop, so participants don’t need to be available at a certain time of day.

This workshop takes place on a private forum, and one to three lessons a day are posted for the four-week period. Participants work at their own pace and ask questions as they do the lessons, while Angela will read and respond daily. There is not regimented schedule for participants, so if you have other obligations, you can definitely work around it.

Note: Throughout the years, I’ve had a number of people repeat the course. I offer a discount to those who are taking it for a second (or third!!) time, so please email B4YouHitSend at Gmail.com and we’ll provide you with a discount code.

Space is limited so register now! Next workshop will be Spring 2018.
Refunds are not offered. Thank you!

For questions about registration or the Before You Hit Send Self-Editing Workshop, please email B4YouHitSend at Gmail.com.

We suggest adding this email to your email system’s whitelist/safelist to ensure you receive all correspondence prior to the course. Approximately 5 days before the course begins, you will receive forum registration information. This is sent to everyone who has paid and registered, so if you think you haven’t received it, please check your spam first, and then email us at B4YouHitSend at Gmail.com. My moderator, Trish, sends multiple emails during the first week, to ensure everyone is receiving the information, tracking who hasn’t yet logged onto the forum, so we are careful about ensuring the information is received. We ask that you help us out so you get what you paid for, and do the same by adding us to your email safelist!
